Romance readers deserve a place where recommendations are tailored to their preferences, not just what's popular (unless that's your preference)
Ooh La Lit started at home. My wife wanted a place where she could find reliable romance recommendations based on what actually matters to romance readers: tropes, relationship dynamics, spice level and more. She was tired of getting the same books pushed because they were trending, brand new, or had one tiny overlap with a favorite read. We searched everywhere and couldn't find anywhere that did it well.
So I learned how to build a website, and we built it together. We shaped it into exactly what she was looking for: a place where you can find your exact trope combo, keep spice where you want it, and skip the stuff that ruins it for you while being easily digestible. Less time searching and more time finding the right story.
I don't just want "romantasy":
No ads. No affiliate pressure. Just books you'll love.
Every trope has its fans. We don't rank. We match.
Tags come from the community. You can see, vote, and shape them.
Modern algorithms built for romance recommendations.
